The 2nd National Vespa Clubs Rally will be held in Stirling Scotland 20-22 July 2012. This rally will be a recognition of the birth of the of the Vespa movement in the British Isles and the 60th anniversary of the Vespa Club Of Britain.

Brought to you by the organisers of the 2010 Highland Scoot and the Vespa Club Of Scotland.

Stirling is one of the formost cities in Scotland and is steeped in history, William Wallace Braveheart, country, battle of Stirling Bridge, King Robert The Bruce’s victory at the battle of Bannockburn and is recognised as having the best castle in the country.

The Saturday ride out will be a mini Highland Scoot through Lomond and Trossachs National Park one of Europe’s most beautiful locations at the southern edge of the West Highland Fault, with Loch Ard , Loch Chon, Loch Arklet and Loch Lomond all lying to the West, Loch Katrine, Loch Achray and Loch Venacher to the North and the Lake of Menteith,

The contents of this video is what you will experiance on this superb weekend, camping will also be available the shadow of The National Wallace Monument and the beautiful Ochil Hills.

This Rally will only be open to Piaggio machines and will be ticket only. More info on how to get your ticket will be given in the new year (2012)

Bill Drake has been providing dating certificates for both the VCB & VVC for over 5 years and has issued hundreds of certificates. The majority of Vespa’s now requiring ‘validation’ are now coming from Bali, Vietnam & Indonesia. These all claim to be original Italian Machines! Please read Bills article written in 2008 which will explain some of the pitfalls with these machines.
